The LECD lamp panel produces a soft low level light. Due to its multi-point light sources, it is highly visible in foggy and smoky conditions. It does not produce the “halo effect” of conventional light sources. The light output is designed for low level applications such as night-lights, pathway markers and sign applications where visibility without spill over light pollution is important.
The ability of the LECD lamp to penetrate fog and smoke make this lamp very adaptable to highway signs and markers. The LECD lamp panel is not well suited to sign applications where there exist high levels of ambient light. However, the LECD lamp is very well suited to sign applications such as Historic Districts and Parks, where light pollution could be a problem.
