Several years and several millions of dollars have gone into the development of the LECD lighting platform. In the development
of this technology, Ecer and its parent companies have partnered with the US Department of Energy (Cooperative Agreement DE_FC26-99-FT40631),National Science Foundation, Marshall University Research Corporation, Alfred State University, Nick Joe Rahall Appalachian Transportation
Institute, and the Robert C Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing.
Our manufacturing facilities are located on 18 acres of land at Alta, West Virginia. Alta is located approximately 7 miles west of
Lewisburg.
It is the goal of Ecer Technologies to revolutionize the way the world thinks about lighting. Thus creating an environment that is
not polluted by excess light and will save our natural resources by conserving energy; it will further be the goal of Ecer Technologies
to provide our communities with stable well-paying jobs that will in turn provide our State with economic growth.
The LECD product is manufactured by highly skilled technicians that use exacting and “State of The Art” production processes.
